Whether for heating, hot water supply, comfortable air conditioning or cooling: without thermal storage, heating or cooling systems would always have to be able to cope with peak loads and respond spontaneously to demand. This in turn means high performance requirements, and therefore large and expensive system technology. And frequent load changes require flexibility and promote wear and tear. Storage systems decouple generation and demand, thus balancing out peak loads and opening up potential savings in both procurement and operation.

The storage tanks are available in many standard sizes and can also be custom-made to special dimensions so that they can be adapted to the system and operating conditions.

• with thermal insulation ex works or insulation installed on site

Compliant with standards and durable

All storage tanks supplied by us comply with EN12897, which has been adopted in all EU national standards, including Switzerland (SVGW). This standard refers to quality (threshold test), safety (performance test), efficiency (cooling loss measurement) and hygiene (flange recommendation). EN12897 also stipulates a long-term test for storage tanks. The test pecimens are exposed to extreme conditions and tested.

Drinking water storage tanks with certified hygiene

All standard drinking water storage tanks offered by BMS-Energietechnik AG are tested and certified on the basis of our recommendation and are provided with certificates for labelling and energy regulations.
